Exact sizes

Type the size you want instead of eyeballing it.

   While you draw

   When a tool asks for a point or a length, tap Type value in the bar at the bottom. A number pad opens; type the size and press Enter. For a line, the Angle key lets you give its length, then its angle. With a keyboard attached, just start typing.

   In 3D

   Extrude, revolve and round-edge handles show their value in a small capsule. Drag the handle, or tap the capsule and type the number.

   Units

   New Parts are in millimetres. The Calibration Cube uses 25.4 mm, which is 1 inch.
